beach house

you all remember the movie...Nights in Rodanthe, right?
Do you remember that beautiful house?

I can certainly tell you that I remember it quite well

Bobby and I were walking in the store and of course the "oldie" movies that they have bins and bins full caught his eye as they always do...
We stopped just to see if they have anything different from last time he checked

And I saw the cover to Nights in Rodanthe and exclaimed...
"Hey honey do you remember that house in that movie?"

of which I answered myself...
"well no you probably wouldn't because you didn't watch it with me..."
so I go on and on about the house...trying to describe it to him

He pauses...and gives me this equation to complete...

"What would that house plus the beach equal Martha?...."

I answered that question in a millisecond
I didn't even have to think about my answer because I could have said it in my sleep

maybe I would change the color to blue/grey if that was an option...
but I would take that beautiful house any day of the week just as it is...

what would your answer have been?
your quick, non-thinking answer...
I'm just a little curious...

certainly you may have a general idea of mine by now...
but I'll give you my exact answer next time
and Bobby's answer too...

because we of course had completely different answers...
and I'm thinking most of you would have an answer similar to mine {he, he}
and if that is the case...I will kindly report that to the hubby!

I dream of a beach house someday...somewhere where I can drag sand in between my toes and have a bonfire at night. *sigh* To dream... ~mary~

I'd lighten it up, white perhaps; no antique white. With a gray blue trim...love that house.

Oh so so so lovely...I would take it just as it is but if I could do anything with it I would lighten it up too.
Just wanted to stop by and thank you so much for your sweet caring comment concerning my daughters migraines...what a blessing you are my friend..to take the time out to help me.
