Fingerprint Friday ~ by Martha

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints.
Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?
Bobby and I both love dogs...we grew up with dogs...and just love them as a family member. The special bond you form with dogs is one of the most blessed things...and to show our girls and pass on our love for dogs {animals} to them has always been very important to us...

Madison was always attached to Maximus...and after he passed...she and Cadence have grown to share a special bond now. Hayley was too young at the time when we lost Maximus...but one of Hayley's favorite things is dogs as well...everywhere we go...she will point them out...she almost cannot take it...and she just loves her Cadence too...Hayley immediately bonded with Cadence when she started noticing her as a baby...

Cadence is a special member of our family...this picture is of Madison with Cadence the night before her 1st day of school...Cadence sneaks in with Madison at bed time and naptime which is so cute, we think:)

Peaceful Land ~ Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

To participate in Fingerprint Friday...please check out Pampering Beki's absolutely wonderful blog and also her etsy shop too ~ she started this lovely tradition...

We stayed with my in-laws when we went back from reunion last weekend ~ they live just outside city limits...and it is beautiful country...the kind where you have land...and houses are not too close...a place where it is quiet...a place where the sky just sparkles with delight from the stars {at night}...it really is beautiful...so during the day before the reunion...Bob ~ Bobby's dad ~ drove us down into the some of their fields they have with the girls to show us their pond out back...which was overgrown and you could only see faints of it between the trees and brush...but the land was just gorgeous and we had butterflies following us as he drove along in the fields...I know that would have made GREAT pictures to get those butterflies...but sitting with the girls was what I did instead of snapping very many shots...he is what I have of them...
Madison watching the butterflies...
But the beauty of nature and land is just God's work no matter how you look at it! This picture was taken driving to their back field ~ I believe it is technically their neighbor's land there...but just wonderful...A few pics of the girls on their land...of course Hayley running down the trail and Miss Madison playing with the plants...rocks...and everything else...she could pile into the reusable cupcake holder:)We are back to our hometown area this weekend again...this time for a wedding...oooohhhh do I LOVE weddings...I'll probably cry at some point...a happy cry...I'll most definitely enjoy the wedding cake...it is secretly my favorite thing to look forward to at weddings...well obviously besides the bride and groom and others we know... and the flowers too...wedding cakes are just THE BEST to me...I could get married all over again (to Bobby of course) just to have our wedding cake...plus they are always just sooo beautiful...and usually always different...

Enjoy your weekend! Blessings to you!

Fingerprint Friday by Martha

Fingerprint Friday....

I thought I would share a few recent pictures that are dear to me...and especially have been moments this week that have helped me get through a difficult time since last Friday (only explaining this again so you see why Fingerprint Friday below)...I said I would move on to the best of my ability...but it was hard this week to be honest especially when I saw them twice in which they were just down right I guess "cold" {is the best way to put it} to me {and my husband on one occasion too}...so I just tried to smile and moved about my way knowing I will continue to be me and do what I know is right...{and no it wasn't intentional to see them}

last week I said I would move on ~ but WOW is was difficult this week when they were unexpected moments
...So WONDERFUL moments like those above made me surely smile and forget those times...

On to more importantly Fingerprint Friday...

I saw God in my girls getting joy out of watching the hummingbirds outside...the wind blowing in their hair...nothing like fresh air...and nothing like wonderful hugs between your children...

I decided to take part in Fingerprint Friday today started by Pampering Beki so check it out if you would like to participate...pretty neat...but I will share what she has to say about it. The following taken from Pampering Beki's site ~ but kind of where the idea started for her from this song...
